Collection description : Active when sampled in a wild part of the "Trou qui Fume" which is connected to the Villars Cave. The top of this stalagmite recorded the atmospheric nuclear-bomb-peak which allowed the calculation of dead carbon proportion (dcp). It recorded also environmental changes during the past 3ka above the cave.

Sample Description and others measurements : Entire thin stalagmite
Height : 109.6 cm
Sample petrography description : This colorless stalagmite shows very clear laminated parts which ollowed laminae counting. The central part is however not laminated. At its basis, very clear laminae display growth rates of about 2mm/year, this was arround 3K.
